Shaun, our founder, started out on the client side of animation projects. He watched teams lose weeks chasing suppliers, re-explaining the brief and fixing problems that should have been caught at the script, when they should have been shaping the message.
He founded Lucid Motion Studio in 2015 to run production differently: agree the goal first, lock the script and visual direction before anything is animated, and share every stage for review before moving on. More than 1,000 projects later, every film is still made that way, from product launches and technical explainers to training programmes and brand stories.
