Synapsa network security platform explainer by Lucid Motion Studio
Featured · Security platform explainer

Synapsa Explainer

A product explainer for a security platform, written so an engineer keeps watching and a buyer still follows it. Most security teams commission this first, because one film has to survive both audiences.

  • Written from material you supply and one conversation with your team
  • Storyboard review before animation, so a correction is a document edit
  • Delivered in 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16 with a captioned silent cut

Why the explanation stalls

Security products are hard to explain. Animation makes them clear.

Three problems show up in almost every security brief that reaches us. None of them is solved by another padlock icon.

01
Three thousand vendors, one sentence

AI-powered detection, next generation, zero trust ready.

02
Fear stopped working

Breach statistics and countdown clocks were effective when they were novel.

03
The engineer has an informal veto

One vague phrase in a deck and the security architect in the room has filed you under vendor noise.

What we produce

What we produce for security and infrastructure teams

Six formats, grouped by the job they do. Most teams start with one, then reuse the same visual system across the rest. Format detail sits on the explainer video and training video pages.

Product and platform explainer

Product and platform explainer

What the product does and where it sits in the stack, for a buyer and an engineer at once.

Attack path and kill chain

Attack path and kill chain

The sequence an attacker actually follows, drawn accurately enough to survive an engineer's review.

Architecture and deployment

Architecture and deployment

Your platform inside the customer's estate, in a form a security reviewer can follow without a call.

Security awareness training

Security awareness training

Scenario animation for phishing, social engineering and conduct, re-versioned when policy moves.

Channel and partner enablement

Channel and partner enablement

Short assets an MSSP or reseller can forward, with their brand on the front.

Conference and event film

Conference and event film

Booth loops and launch films built to a date that will not move.

Why security teams brief us

We would rather ask than guess

Accuracy first, because your engineers will be the harshest reviewers.

🎯

No stock security imagery

No hoodies, no padlocks, no code rain, no red arcs across a world map.

🧪

Terminology handled properly

EDR, XDR and MDR are not interchangeable.

🗣️

Two audiences, one production

The board cut and the practitioner cut come out of the same project, sharing a script spine and a style, at a fraction.

🤝

White label for the channel

MSSPs, MSPs and agencies brief us as their production team.

How it works

From technical brief to approved film

Five steps on every project, with the technical review built into the middle.

Source

We work from your documentation, a real demo and your engineers.

Script

Written around the mechanism, with terminology checked before it is drawn.

Review

Your engineers review the storyboard, where a correction is cheap.

Produce

Animation, voiceover, music and sound design, with revision rounds included.

Version

Master film, cutdowns, captions and versioned source files.

For agencies

Your animation department, under your name

You explain security all day. We can make the film behind your name, so an MSSP, MSP or agency can offer animation without building a studio. You keep the relationship, the branding and the credit, and your client never learns we exist.

  • No watermark, no credit, nothing of ours in file names or metadata
  • We never contact your client directly
  • Overflow capacity for launches and campaign peaks
  • Written quotes in 24 hours so you can price a pitch the same day
FAQ

What security marketers ask us first

How do you explain zero trust to a non-technical audience without dumbing it down?
By showing the decision rather than describing the philosophy. Zero trust is not a product and it is not a slogan, it is a policy decision made continuously at each request. Animation can show that decision happening, then show the same request denied under different conditions, which is what makes the idea land for a board member. The technical audience gets the enforcement points named correctly in the same film or in a longer variant. Nobody has to be talked down to.
Will your work survive review by our security engineers?
That is the point of the process. Scripts and sequence descriptions are written from your material, your documentation and a conversation with the person who actually knows the system. Your engineers review the storyboard before animation begins, where a correction is a comment on a document rather than a re-render. We are careful with the distinctions practitioners notice, including EDR against XDR against MDR, SIEM against SOAR, and kill chain against MITRE ATT&CK. If we are not sure, we ask instead of guessing.
Can you animate an attack path or a kill chain accurately?
Yes, and it is one of the strongest cases for animation in this sector. Lateral movement uses legitimate protocols and looks like ordinary administrative traffic, which is exactly why a dashboard recording cannot show it. An animated sequence can hold the whole path in one frame, mark which steps your product detects and which it prevents, and keep the timeline honest. We build these from scenarios your team supplies, not from generic threat imagery.
Can you produce security awareness training content as well as product marketing?
Yes, and it is usually a different buyer inside the same organisation. Awareness and human risk content needs scenario-based storytelling and characters people recognise from their own working day, not product marketing polish. We produce it as a series with a shared visual system so modules can be added when a policy or a threat changes, and deliver in a form your learning platform accepts.
What can you not claim about our security product?
Anything we cannot see for ourselves. We will not state detection rates, breach prevention outcomes, compliance status or comparative performance against a named competitor unless you supply the source and take responsibility for the claim. We also do not describe our own studio as security certified, because we are not. We are an animation studio that has learned to be precise about this subject.
How fast can you turn around content for RSA Conference or an event deadline?
Event work is a fixed-date project and we schedule it that way. A booth loop or a short platform explainer typically runs two to four weeks from approved script. Tell us the date in the first email and you get a dated schedule with the quote, inside 24 hours. We have not missed a delivery date across more than a thousand projects.
