Can you help us communicate a project to a community during planning?
Yes, and it is one of the most valuable uses of animation in this sector. A planning audience is not a customer audience. They are sceptical by default, they have often already read something negative, and they care about things a technical deck ignores: what they will see from their window, what the construction traffic does to the village, how long the noise lasts, what happens at the end of the project's life. A film that answers those questions honestly, including the parts that are inconvenient, does far more for consent than one that shows a turbine turning in a sunset.
How do you handle environmental claims?
Carefully, and with a clear line about who owns them. You own every claim. We will not write unqualified language like clean, green, carbon neutral or zero emission into a script, because those terms carry a substantiation burden in most of the markets our clients sell into and the burden sits with you, not with us. Where you have substantiated a claim, we will present it with the qualification attached rather than stripping it for a punchier line. We do not verify or certify anything and we do not give regulatory advice.
Can you explain a battery storage or flexibility business model to investors?
Yes, and this is where animation genuinely outperforms a deck. The physical asset is a box in a field. The value is in market participation, which is entirely abstract and happens across several revenue streams at once. Motion can hold those streams on screen simultaneously and show them stacking, which no static chart does well. We work from your commercial model and your figures, and we do not invent or extrapolate numbers.
Do you work with energy software companies as well as developers?
Yes, and they are an under-served group. Distributed energy resource management, virtual power plants, trading and optimisation platforms have the hardest communication problem in the sector, because there is no physical plant to photograph at all. The product is the coordination layer. Almost every vendor in this space still explains itself with a static architecture diagram.
Can you work from engineering drawings, GIS data or photomontages?
Yes. We take CAD and 3D models, site layouts, GIS and terrain data, drone footage, photomontages and survey imagery, and we can combine them. What we produce from that material is a communication asset. It is not a landscape and visual impact assessment, not an engineering study and not a substitute for either. If a planning submission needs a formal verified view, that is specialist work and your consultants should do it.
How quickly can you turn a project film around?
