A construction method
cannot be filmed. It has not happened yet.

Construction sequencing, method statement and tender animation for contractors, and product video for the PropTech and ConTech companies selling into the built environment. Marketing a finished scheme to buyers instead? That is our real estate animation work.

Propy property technology explainer by Lucid Motion Studio
Featured · PropTech product explainer

Propy

A product explainer for a property technology platform. One film has to land with a buyer and with the people who will check the detail, which is what the script is built around.

  • Written from material you supply and one conversation with your team
  • Storyboard review before animation, so a correction is a document edit
  • Delivered in 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16 with a captioned silent cut

Why the explanation stalls

A construction method is hard to explain. Animation makes it clear.

Three problems show up in almost every construction brief that reaches us. None of them is solved by another render of the finished building.

01
A sequence that has not happened

During the tender, the whole proposal is a programme and a method statement.

02
Temporary works and lifting

Props, falsework, craneage and exclusion zones are designed carefully, used briefly and removed.

03
Everything inside a wall or slab

Reinforcement, services, insulation, membranes and fixings are visible for days and then covered for the life of the building.

What we produce

What we produce for construction and PropTech teams

Six formats, grouped by the job they do. Most teams start with one, then reuse the same visual system across the rest. Format detail sits on the 3D animation and real estate animation pages.

Format 01

Construction sequencing

Phasing and methodology compressed into something a panel can watch in one sitting, built from your model and your programme.

Format 02

Tender and bid film

Your approach to this site, not a generic construction montage.

Format 03

Method statement and logistics

Craneage, deliveries, road closures, exclusion zones and lift plans, made legible to people who do not read RAMS for a living.

Format 04

Planning and consultation

For a public audience rather than a client one.

Format 05

Site induction and safety

Hazards you would never stage, shown safely and re-versioned into the languages your site actually speaks.

Format 07

PropTech and ConTech product video

Platform explainers for CDEs, project management, field tools and property management software, beyond another dashboard.

Why construction teams brief us

Precise about the line, fast on the date

We animate what your model says, and we say so when it does not say enough.

๐Ÿ“

We do not overclaim on BIM

We animate your sequence and say so.

๐Ÿ—“๏ธ

Bid dates are the schedule

Submission deadlines are fixed and we plan backwards from them.

๐Ÿฆบ

Safety content you cannot film

The incident, the exclusion zone, the lift going wrong.

๐Ÿข

Software and structure in one studio

The same team that animates your sequencing can explain the platform that manages it.

How it works

From programme to final cut

Five steps on every project, with the technical review built into the middle.

Discover

We work from your model, your programme and the person running the package.

Script

Built around the sequence, not a feature list. You approve the words first.

Storyboard

Scene-by-scene visuals and style frames. Your technical team reviews here.

Produce

Animation, voiceover, music and sound design, with revision rounds included.

Deliver

Master film, every aspect ratio, captions, cutdowns and source files.

For agencies

Your animation department, under your name

AEC agencies win construction accounts and then discover the sequencing animation is the hard part, usually with a bid date attached. We sit behind you. You keep the relationship, the branding and the credit, and your client never learns we exist.

  • No watermark, no credit, nothing of ours in file names or metadata
  • We never contact your client directly
  • Overflow capacity for bid deadlines and campaign peaks
  • Written quotes in 24 hours so you can price a pitch the same day
FAQ

What construction and PropTech teams ask us first

Do you build 4D BIM models?
No, and being precise about this matters more here than anywhere else on our site. Producing a validated 4D sequence means linking model geometry to a construction programme, resolving clashes and confirming the sequence is actually buildable. That is planning and digital construction work, owned by your BIM manager, your planner or a specialist consultancy. What we do is take a sequence that has already been produced and resolved, usually as a Navisworks or Synchro export, an IFC model or a set of drawings plus a method statement, and turn it into a directed film with camera work, pacing, colour-coded legends, voiceover and sound design. We animate your sequence. We do not author it.
What model and programme data can you work from?
IFC models, Revit and Navisworks exports, Synchro output, point clouds and reality capture data, general arrangement drawings, sections, a written method statement, and existing visualisation assets. If a 4D sequence already exists, that is the ideal starting point because the hard thinking is done. If it does not, we can work from drawings and the method statement with your planner confirming the sequence before we animate it.
How is this different from your real estate animation service?
They serve different buyers and different moments. Real estate animation sells property: how a finished scheme looks and feels, aimed at buyers and investors. This page is about how something gets built and how the technology behind the built environment works, aimed at bid panels, planning committees, site teams and the marketing teams at PropTech and ConTech companies. If you are marketing a development to purchasers, our real estate animation page is the right place to start.
Can an animation help win a tender?
It is one of the few places in construction where video demonstrably changes a decision, which is why large contractors now employ tender animators in-house. A bid panel that includes a client representative, a cost consultant and an end user is being asked to compare methodologies written in near-identical language. A film that shows your logistics plan, your phasing and your approach to a constrained site is often the only part they can actually picture afterwards.
Can you produce site induction and safety content?
Yes, and animation solves a real problem here. A site workforce is transient, multilingual and changes constantly, and the hazards you most need to communicate are ones you would never stage for a camera. Animation shows the incident, the exclusion zone and the lift plan safely, and re-versions into other languages from the same production. Your health and safety team owns the content and the sign-off. We do not claim that a film satisfies any training regulation on its own.
How quickly can you turn a tender animation around?
Bid programmes are short and the date does not move, so we schedule backwards from submission. Two to four weeks is typical for a sequencing film built from an existing 4D export. Building from drawings and a method statement takes longer because the sequence has to be confirmed first. Send the submission date with the brief and you will have a written quote and a dated schedule within 24 hours.
